Supplier Management

The Supplier Management is responsible for the support of our existing hauliers as well as for the acquisition of new hauliers. Our Supplier Management team is the point of contact for our key suppliers, acting as the interface between our operational departments and our hauliers. They negotiate conditions and process and control haulier’s contracts. Furthermore, they are responsible to strengthen the relationships with our hauliers and to expand our network through targeted supplier events and divers marketing activities.

The duties of a Supplier Manager

  • Coordination and management of suppliers in all traffics
  • Point of contact for hauliers and the single traffics
  • Point of contact for all key suppliers regarding the purchase of transport and other customer services
  • Implementation, management, monitoring and processing of haulier’s contracts
  • Coordination, preparation of the documentation and partial conduction of haulier visits
  • Haulier audits: coordination, estimation of necessity, preparation of the documentation and processing together with the Quality Management
  • Definition, realisation and control of all haulier marketing activities
  • Planning and realisation of supplier events
